
M.A., PhD student, Expert in digital transformation and educational technology.
He has over 15 years of experience in digital transformation as an educational consultant, researcher and trainer specializing in educational innovation and technology (EdTech, Open Badges, Fab Lab), open and social innovation (Living Lab, Community of Practice) and digital social systems design (Fab City).
Since 2015, as a PhD researcher and entrepreneur on digital badges, a certification system (Open Badges) for the digitization, validation and discoverability of skills, achievements and diplomas. He has presented more than 70 conferences and workshops, developed a digital badge platform on WordPress (BadgeFactor) and accompanied a dozen clients in Quebec, France and the United States. In terms of research, he develops and validates an organizational design model and an evaluation of the level of digital maturity of organizations in an innovative manufacturing sector approach to implement the use of digital badge systems.
In collaboration with the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), he is developing an online French course (MOOC) on design thinking and digital innovation in connection with the digital countries movement (Estonia) and the smart and green cities movement (Fab City).
As vice-president of the board of directors of Communautique between 2016 and 2019, he contributed to the transformation of this experimentation and training hub in open innovation and helped to host the international Living Labs event in 2016 in Montreal as well as to obtain the international Fab Labs meeting (FAB16 Montreal, Fab City Summit) in Montreal in 2021.
Since 2019, he is a pedagogical advisor in educational technology at Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne in Montreal. He collaborates with the programs of the Pôle d’innovation numérique (computer science, multimedia, 3D animation). Also, he accompanies the directions of the college in the development of the strategic planning of the digital transition 2020-2025.
