Don Presant introduced me to Open Badges in 2012 and we decided to add them to the ePIC conference. Regular participant since 2004 to the ePortfolio conference that was to be rechristened ePIC, Don has become instrumental in the constant evolution of the conference bringing cutting edge thinkers and participants to explore how digital technologies could contribute to transforming education and employment.
Don is one of the three co-authors of the Bologna Open Recognition Declaration and has since outstandingly contributed to advance the ideas and values of #OpenRecognition.
