DVV International Regional Office and the Department of Non-Formal Education initiated a project in order to train a group of 35 Master trainers in youth and adult education in Lao PDR. The workshops were organized around the following themes: Methods of Adult Education, Gender, Group Dynamics and Approach to Adult Education, Planning, Organizing and Evaluating Adult Education and Graduation. The trainings were successful, having 35 graduates who are considered to be the first expert trainers in teaching and learning of youth and adults. The project received the EAEA Grundtvig Award in 2018.
