LibreTexts is home to the most downloaded open educational resources (OER) on the Internet today and has already saved students $31 million dollars. The LibreTexts’ mission is to unite students, faculty, and scholars in a cooperative effort to develop an easy-to-use online platform for the construction, customization, and dissemination of OER in order to reduce the burden of unreasonable textbook costs on students. LibreTexts is completely free and open to anyone because they believe that knowledge should be accessible for everyone.
