ePIC 2025, the 23rd International Conference on Open Education, Open Recognition Technologies and Practices, will be taking place 100% face-to-face in Paris, France.
ePIC 2025 is the twenty-third edition of a series of international conferences (Oxford, Québec, Maastricht, London, Bologna, Lille, Vienna) dedicated to exploring the potential of digital technologies in opening access to recognition of all forms of learning, whether informal, non-formal or formal. It is organised by Reconnaître-Open Recognition Alliance and #Leplusimportant, in partnership with the Comité National des Acteurs des Badges Numériques (National Committee of Digital Badge Actors)
Reconnaître-Open Recognition Alliance is a French non-profit association dedicated to fostering open recognition practices, technologies and policies.
#Leplusimportant is a French innovation and action lab think tank dedicated to empowering individuals and promoting a more inclusive society.
The Comité National des Acteurs des Badges Numériques (National Committee of Digital Badge Actors) is a community composed of 40 organisational members representing the civil society, the employers and the public services. It is operating under the high patronage of the French Minister for Education and Vocational Training.
In December 2023, the committee organised a very successful colloquium dedicated to Badges numériques : Promouvoir économie de la connaissance et société de la reconnaissance (Digital badges: Promoting the knowledge economy and the recognition society.)

A prestigious space for 300 people. This bright, air-conditioned 300 m2 room boasts a ceiling height of over 5 metres and a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. The space is equipped with a state-of-the-art simultaneous interpretation and videoconferencing system.
The George Stephenson space boasts a magnificent fresco by Jean Lurçat. It offers a bright, air-conditioned, user-friendly space of 80 m2, with 4-metre high ceilings and a full range of audiovisual equipment.
This modular 78 m² room can accommodate from 10 to 80 participants and is equipped with a flipchart, screen, video projector and whiteboard. Comfortable, functional and all with natural daylight, it is ideal for organising working groups.
